Minimum age

 the minimum age for individual applications in the courses is 18 years old.

 the institute can host closed groups of young people under 18 on request.

Enrolment

 A 65 euro deposit (enrolment fee) and 70 euros per week of courses (non-refundable) are demanded for all course enrolments.

 Confirmation of the FP, FGFP and FT courses are subject to the correction of an evaluation test. You should receive confirmation within 48 hours of sending your enrolment form.

 Your enrolment will be considered definitive as soon as we have received payment of the deposit from you. The balance must be paid one month before the start of your course, as soon as you receive your invoice.

Payment

 Payments may be made by bank transfer or by cheque in euros, endorsable in France and made out to IS Aix-en-Provence. Please indicate your surname and first name as a reference for the transfers.

 Bank charges are payable by you.

Reservation of accommodation

 All reservations of accommodation other than for homestays carry a reservation fee of 20 euros.

Public holidays

There are several public holidays in France, in particular in May. The school is closed on these days and we offer an excursion in its place. The lessons missed are caught up on another weekday in the afternoon. You will have the same number of lessons as any normal week but at different times.

Cancellation

The following conditions apply for a cancellation:

 14 or more working days before the start of the course : you lose your deposit of 65 euros enrolment fee plus 70 euros per week of courses.

 From 13 to 7 working days before the start of the course : 30% of the balance for the course and 50% of the price for the first week in a homestay are due.

 Less than 7 working days before the start of the course : 50% of the balance for the course and 80% of the price for the first week in a homestay are due.

 After the start of the course : 100% of the price for the course and 100% of the first week in a homestay are due. For all types of accommodation other than homestays, charges are negotiated directly with our accomodation partners.

Modification of courses or accommodation during your stay

 Courses: Any modifications will carry a fee of 50 euros.

 Homestays: Students who wish to leave their homestay family must inform the school administration one week in advance, or at least pay for the following week.

 Other kinds of accommodation (hotels, student residences, apartments): any changes must be negotiated between the student and the accommodation partner.

Insurance

Each student must take out insurance himself/herself which covers civil liability, illness, accidents, loss of money, valuables or baggage, theft and course cancellation or interruption for personal or health reasons.
